Mehdi brings over 20 years of international leadership across investment strategy, business development, and market expansion. As Senior Associate at Mobay and Company Limited, he applies deep expertise in international trade and financial negotiation, supported by an academic foundation in International Business Administration from United States International University.

His portfolio includes senior roles with D.S Max Canada, Marriott International, and 360 Sourcing International, where he oversaw investment planning, cross-border operations, and strategic growth. Mehdi also led expansion efforts across Africa, MENA, and Southeast Asia for T-Box Global, driving portfolio diversification and regional market penetration.

Malcolm formed Abell Limited’ in 1999, a corporate finance division which specialises in the capital structure of early stage businesses.

His expertise spans financial policy formulation, regulatory compliance, and budgetary oversight for complex institutions and high-impact initiatives. Fred previously served as Assistant Finance Manager at the National Construction Authority, a parastatal under Kenya’s Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development, where he led the development and implementation of financial policies and annual budgeting frameworks.

Earlier in his career, he was Financial Accountant at Sameer Africa Ltd, a regional tyre manufacturer with operations across East and Central Africa. Fred brings to Mobay a wealth of financial acumen, institutional insight, and a commitment to enabling sustainable growth and innovation across Africa.

Soka Kapundu is a mining executive and finance specialist with over 38 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, strategic financial management, and leadership. Born in Zambia and based in the UK since 1983, he brings a unique blend of global perspective and deep-rooted heritage to his work. Over the past decade, he has re-engaged with Zambia, now dedicating more time to advancing his mining ventures on the ground.

As CEO of Sellome Investment Limited and Kabompo Mineral Resources Limited, Soka leads two greenfield mining companies focused on sustainable, community-driven development. His leadership ensures alignment with international environmental standards while contributing meaningfully to Zambia’s economic growth.

Soka’s career spans multiple sectors. He was part of the founding team behind EasyJet’s pioneering low-cost airline model and led the digital transformation of the Royal National Theatre’s accounting system—both landmark achievements in their fields.
